Course Director

Nirmala, originally from Canada, has been teaching yoga within the Sivananda organisation for over 25 years. She is a senior faculty member in the Teachers’ Training Courses and Advanced Teachers’ Training Courses in India.

Nirmala is passionate about the experience and inclusion of women on the path of yoga and creating unique programmes to share the traditional teachings of yoga, Vedanta, and meditation.

Nirmala is currently serving as Director of Sivananda India Online. She trains and oversees the quality of teachings in the Yoga Foundation Courses offered by GetOnYoga.
